These Terms govern your use of the AfroGulf AI Governance Institute website and the AfroGulf AI Governance Index (together, the "Service"), operated by [Legal Entity Name], a company registered in [England & Wales] under number [company number], with registered office at [registered address]. By using the Service you accept these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service provides research, analysis, and a comparative index relating to AI governance and sovereignty across Africa and the Gulf. It is provided for general information and policy-research purposes.

2. No professional advice; no reliance

Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, regulatory, financial, or investment advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. The Index reflects assessments based on public information and is not a statement of fact about any government, organisation, or jurisdiction. You should obtain independent professional advice before acting on any matter.

3. The Index and its limitations

Index scores are analytical judgments derived from public sources as at a stated date. They are inherently interpretive, may contain errors or omissions, and are subject to revision. AfroGulf makes no representation or warranty that scores are complete, current, or free from error. The methodology and a right of reply are published on our Methodology page.

4. Intellectual property

The AfroGulf name, seal, Index, methodology, and content are the property of [Legal Entity Name], a company registered in [England & Wales] under number [company number], with registered office at [registered address] or its licensors. You may quote or cite the Index with clear attribution to "The AfroGulf AI Governance Institute". You may not reproduce substantial portions, or present the material as your own, without written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale without permission, or use it to mislead.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfroGulf shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Service or the Index. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [England & Wales], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, save where mandatory local law provides otherwise.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Questions: hello@afrogulfai.com.
